MJA | Grammar: Past Future Continuous Tense

Tense ini berfungsi untuk mengungkapkan prediksi atau rencana sesuatu pada waktu yang akan dan sedang terjadi di masa lalu. Tense ini pun digunakan untuk menggambarkan atau menjelaskan peristiwa atau ekadaan dalam imajenasi kita pada waktu dimasa lalu atau bahkan yang akan terjadi lagi.

 

Tense ini sama seperti Past Future Tense yang menggunakan auxiluary verb namun yang membedakannya adakah penggunaan Be dan Ving

 

Rumusnya adalah:

 

SUBJECT	AUXILIARY VERB	BE	VERB BARE INFINITIVE	Complement
I	WOULD BE	BE	MAKING	A CAKE EVERY YEAR

Macam-macam Future Continuous Tense:

Positive

S + Would + Be + Ving + O

I would be taking care of you

They would be running before the gym

She would be watching youtube at 10pm

 

Negative

S + Would + Not + Be + Ving + O                  

I would be not taking care of you

They would be not running before the gym

She would be not watching youtube at 10pm

 

Interrogative

Question Word/ Would + S + Be + Ving + O?

Would you be taking care of me?

Yes, I would               No, I would not

 

Would she be watching youtube at 10pm?

Yes, She Would          No, She would not

 

 

Kamu bisa menyingkat/(Contraction) Would dengan Not

Would  Not     = Wouldn’t
