A ditransitive verb is a verb that requires two object with an order SPOO.

Symbol for this verb is Ditrans (Ditransitive verb), with another symbol may appear in the tree diagram;

·       N (Nouns)

·       Det (Determiners)

·       V (Verb)

·       iO (Indirect Obejct)

·       dO (Direct Object)

 

Here is the example for transitive verb with tree diagram:

Ray told the children a story


Ken made a cake for the party




She wrote a massage on the wall
