MJA | Part Of Speech : Preposition

Preposition adalah kata yang berfungsi untuk menunjukkan hubungan antara objek dengan bagian lain dalam suatu kalimat, dengan preposition didepan object akan menerangkan verb, noun dan adjective.

Ex: At, In , Of, On, Under, With, Along with, because Of, Next to.

Preposition dapat hanya terdiri dari suatu kata atau bisa dari gabungan part of speech lainnya.

Dalam penggunaannya Preposition juga dibagi menjadi beberapa, yaitu:

    Preposition Of time

After, before, By, During, etc.

Ex: I will go to your home after finish my homework

    Preposition Of Place

Aboard, Above, Among, Behind, etc.

Ex: I put mu necklace above my notebook

    Preposition of Movement

Around, Away from, By/Past, Down, etc.

Ex: The bee always fly into my house

    Preposition Gabungan

     Noun +  Preposition

Ex: Congratulation on your wedding day

    Adjective + preposition

Ex: I’m so excited about our plan for next month

    Verb + Preposition

Ex: Don’t stare at me like that

    Verb + Particle + Preposition
