Monophthongs: 12 sounds

Monophthongs is a pure vowel sound, one whose articulation at both beginning and end is relatively fixed, and which does not glide up or down towards a new position of articulation. The monopthongs can be contrasted with diphthongs.

Diphthongs: 7 sounds

Diphthongs are literally "double sound" or "double tone", also known as a gliding vowel, is a combination of two adjacent vowel sounds within the same syllable. Technically, a diphthong is a vowel with two different targets. Diphthongs contrast with monophthongs, where the tongue or other speech organs do not move and the syllable contains only a single vowel sound.

Consonant: 24 sounds

And in consonant sounds is speech sound that is articulated with a complete or partial closure of the vocal tract. The opposite of vowel sounds. With all letters except vowels like B, C, D, F, and so on.
